The Lip Product Tag!

I absolutely loved buynowbloglater's post on this, so I decided to do it too. I love Lipstick. But I do have a certain preference for a mauve toned pink, I feel the most comfortable wearing this type of lip colour. Favourite balm or treatment Hand down it is By Terry's Baume de Rose. The pinky magical stuff is love, I haven't found anything better. Before my marriage to the Baume de Rose, my favourite was the Gale Hayman lip lift, which I still buy and carry with me, its small size and lipstick form makes it the perfect travel companion. I have also been liking the Creme De La Mer lip balm, (I normally can't stand minty lip balms) and I'm making my way through the Hourglass No 28 lip oil treatment.  …

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine 92 Emotion

Chanel Rouge Coco shine lipsticks are a hybrid of lipstick and gloss. I do love them as they are very easy to wear. 92 Emotion is limited edition ( or so I was told ) it is a bright raspberry shade that really brightens your whole face. Here is how Chanel describes this particular formulation: Rouge Coco Shine makes an irresistible desire for lightness flit over your makeup. With its mischievous touch, it glides over lips with all the charm and freshness of a snapshot. As melt-away as a balm, its lip-embracing texture becomes fluid on contact with the lips and provides a stunning gloss effect with natural shine. Deliciously fresh and soft, it delivers an unforgettable sensation of well-being. Lips are enveloped in the incomparable comfort of continuous 8 hour long hydration thanks…

Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte lipstick 45 L’Adorée

Chanel's Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte lipstick has a new limited edition shade out, no 45 L 'Adoree. It is a very wearable purple/pink shade. What I love about this matte formula from Chanel is that while it has a velvet feel it is not drying, some matte lipsticks tend to look too dry and dull, or even uncomfortable to wear. I love this formula and adore the shade.

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Compact Makeup

Imagine a cream compact foundation that is velvety smooth and deeply moisturising, that has a dewy finish and perfect adjustable coverage. Well Chanel's Vitalumiere Aqua Cream Compact Foundation is just that. It goes on smooth as butter, with a fresh skin looking finish that doesn't dry your skin out. Beige 30 which has yellow undertones, wore comfortably on my skin without changing colour. If you are normally scared of compact foundations, but always liked the idea of one, this is basically a cream jar formula in a compact with a mirror and sponge!

Chanel Quadra Eye Shadow in Raffinement 39

I wanted to try this over a period of time, to judge this without my Chanel blinkers, to try to find some fault or weakness so as to make this review a bit challenging. But even without my Chanel dominated blinkers this is a must have. Raffinement is the latest addition to the eye shadow quads. It's a warm neutral with all the quality we've come to expect of these quads. Nothing much else to say really.

Chanel Le Blush Creme De Chanel Cream Blush

Chanel's new permanent creme blushes are a welcome addition to the regular makeup line. As I have dry skin I don't like the feel of powder products on my face, I have given up on setting powders and powder foundations. The one product that I would use was powder blushes, but this year a lot of brands have come out with creme blushes to my delight. Chanel have always done quality products and this creme blush is no exception. It applies creamily and smoothly and lasts all day, without highlighting dry areas on the cheeks. It is one of the new dry formulas that apply like cream but last like powder. I picked up shade 65 Affinite which is a rosey shade.
