Besame Classic Color Lipstick in Dusty Rose

Besame is a unique brand which is  reminiscent of a Gone By Era. This is something that Scarlett O'Hara would have used as she got ready at her dressing table! Coco Beau stock this adorable delightful brand. The lipstick in Dusty Rose is a deep rose shade, with opaque cover in one swipe and has a staining quality. I have been impressed with not only the packaging but quality of this lipstick and intend to indulge deeper into the brand and try more products.

Chanel Le Blush Creme De Chanel Cream Blush

Chanel's new permanent creme blushes are a welcome addition to the regular makeup line. As I have dry skin I don't like the feel of powder products on my face, I have given up on setting powders and powder foundations. The one product that I would use was powder blushes, but this year a lot of brands have come out with creme blushes to my delight. Chanel have always done quality products and this creme blush is no exception. It applies creamily and smoothly and lasts all day, without highlighting dry areas on the cheeks. It is one of the new dry formulas that apply like cream but last like powder. I picked up shade 65 Affinite which is a rosey shade.

Tom Ford Eye Shadow Trio in She Wolf

Tom Ford can do no wrong in my books! This new eye shadow trio proves this. Containing a matte, satin, and shimmery shades in wearable neutrals, this is a classic. I checked through my stash to find something similar but couldn't. The shimmery shade is really sparkly and gives a very dramatic finish either used over the lid or just under the lower lash line. Simply stunning.   In the shade. In direct sunlight. The usual beautiful Tom Ford packaging.

Beaute Liqui Gel Stain for Lips and Cheeks

Beaute is a relatively unknown brand that is stocked by Coco Beau. The Liqui Gel stain is exactly that, a stain for the lips and cheeks. It is quite a good stain on the cheeks, just be careful with it as you could end up with beetroot coloured cheeks! But when applied lightly it wears well. On the lips it is good as a base stain or for a full effect you can layer it until the desired effect is achieved. Personally I think it is better when used as a stain.

Sisley Single Eye Shadow in Velvet 23

Sisley's single eye shadow's are a pleasure to use, they are velvet in texture and blend very well. Part of this years summer collection, Velvet no 23 is a gorgeous mauve brown. it doesn't lean warm or cool, very universally flattering. It is a perfect crease colour but also works well all over the lid, especially when worn with a black in the outer corner.  It is still available at all Sisley counters.
