Are gift with purchase splurges worth it? We’ve all been there, happily going about our day when we get that email or reminder through the post and somehow we have made an order, products mysteriously end up in our basket and we’ve clicked on the “confirm order” button.
So are they worth it? Yes and no. Yes in the case if you stock up on your necessities, things you know you are going to use up, yes in the case of if you’ve had your eye on a number of things for a while but couldn’t quite brave through checkout. Then it totally makes sense to go for it as you get to try a lot of free minis and new items, especially since the most recent ones were so good.
And no if you don’t have the money for it, going into debt for some freebies is totally not worth it.
Moving on to what was recently on offer, Cult Beauty had their summer gift with purchase where if you spent £95 you got this bag of goodies.
Alpha H moisturiser with SPF 50 in 30ml.
Mini beauty blender and cleanser.
Full size Nudestix
Full size mascara
Anastasia brow gel.
Harrods did a special that ran through all of May where you got a large array of products with a £250 spend. Now considering this is Harrods, 250 quid can be reached rather quickly, too quickly if you ask me. Here it is:
Rodial eye masks
Diptyque candle 70g
Robert Piguet roll on perfume 10ml
Eve Lom cleanser 30ml
SK II facial treatment essence 30ml
Space NK also did their spring event gift with purchase with every £150 spend. Here it is:
Kevin Aucoin mascara 4ml
Now Space NK have been doing this for quite a while now and I’ve always took part in it. But they had competition this time, not only from Harrods but recently in March Cult Beauty did a rather good one too with every £110 spend. Here it is: (minus the serum, which I bought)
Omorovicza night cream
Verso day cream
Grown Alchemist hand cream (full size)
This one in particular was my favourite I think 🙂
I personally think gift with purchases like these are great and I hope more stores and boutiques join in.
